Hope and Pray
They say always hope for today and pray for tomorrow.
They say hope you make through the day and pray you see tomorrow.
But I live with no hope so each today was a waste. Today was just an obscene waste of time with no hope to regain the time spent hoping that today would be different.
But I live with unheard and unanswered prayers for tomorrow. Deaf ears receive my prayers, pleas, and screams for a change. Tomorrow was no different than today.
So I live without hope and I never pray because today offers no relief from tomorrow.
